This new initiative aims to establish strong cooperation between the major industrial sectors of Uzbekistan and Germany and to create internship opportunities for our students in German companies.

During the meeting, the Minister of Preschool and School Education, Hilola Umarova, awarded the council members with commemorative badges.

The council includes representatives from key drivers of Uzbekistan’s industry — the Ministry of Energy, the “UzEltechsanoat” Association, “Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex” JSC, “Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Company” JSC, “Uzkimyosanoat” JSC, and the “Uztextile Industry” Association.

Prominent German companies such as DaimlerChrysler AG, BOSCH, STADA Arzneimittel AG, TAL Group, and Siemens Energy were also recognized as participants of the council.

Discussions were also held on establishing laboratories and production centers of these companies at our university in the future.
